In addition to the 11:30am to 1:30pm program that is being recorded for prime time television and radio broadcast\, the San Antonio Water System\, Edwards Aquifer Authority\, and the San Antonio River Authority will provide displays and informational material in the foyer from 10:30am to 2:00pm.\n We are pleased that almost the entire Texas House Committee on Natural Resources will attend our program with many of their staff members. The House Committee will then hold hearings beginning at 2pm in the San Antonio City Council Chambers.\n We are told that this will be the largest audience to attend a luncheon program in the history of the renovated Pearl Stable. (Unfortunately we have had to turn away almost 70 individuals.)\n Please plan to arrive as early as possible – no later than 11:00am\, to be seated by 11:15am\, as the program will begin promptly at 11:30am. \n Thanks to all for your support of this critically important Forum.\n  \n \n     \nSynopsis:\n The San Antonio Clean Technology Forum\, formed in 2008 to promote progressive energy and sustainability policies in the city and region\, is hosting a major luncheon forum on: \n \nWater and Our Shared Future: \nA Local\, Regional and State Report\n Tuesday\, March 9th\, 2010\n11:00 AM to 1:30 PM\nPearl Stable\n San Antonio Mayor Julián Castro will open the forum by addressing the importance of long-term planning and conservation to secure our future water supply and the need to achieve a regional solution. He then will introduce special guest and Speaker of the Texas House\, Joe Straus.
